Sunday June 18, 2017 @ 1pm - Sky Fire 'The Lucid Dreamer'

GEM PREIZ and "THE ANTHROPIC PRINCIPLE"

present:

"LUCID DREAMER?"

An ambient performance Interpretation

SKY FIRE

Particle Tom & Lexi Marshdevil

Ambient Soundtrack by JaNaMoon

Sunday June 18, 2017 @ 1pm

The performance will take place on LEA 16

which is sponsored by the Linden Endowment For The Arts

in an area that Gem calls "PARADISE"

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA16/37/128/2501

"LUCID DREAMER?" is inspired by the writings and installation of Gem Preiz.  His narrative story, colossal scale fractal artworks, and sim build, "THE ANTHROPIC PRINCIPLE" gave SKY FIRE the opportunity to drift in what became our lucid dream.  We considered the life of the fictional astronaut who discovered something so amazing on a distant planet that nobody believed him.  Upon his return he was committed to a mental home when he wouldn't recant his mission report.

————————

SKY FIRE has performed to music by JaNaMoon before, and "LUCID DREAMER?" draws as much inspiration from Gem Preiz as we do from her ambient soundtrack.  Her music can be found online: https://janakyomoon.bandcamp.com/

Sky Fire is a premiere particle performance duet of Lexi Marshdevil and Particle Tom.   This is Sky Fire's 4th anniversary and their latest Gallery-In- A-Book "HEARTS ON FIRE" will be distributed free to everyone who attends the performance.

We look forward to having you join us for the performance.

Music and Particles Show

i could spend a whole hour thanking over 50 people for making the Music and Particles Show for each side of the globe such a success . . . so a big thank you to EVERYONE . . you know who you are!

Of course InterfaceD Dreamscape surpassed himself with his particle wizardry as seen in these photos from Flicky Exonar http://www.flickr.com/photos/49593716@N00/

and the whole thing was captured by Escape Unplugged. Here's Dragonflies and Dandelions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIVO3vPy9_w

We were sent a "A flower" by Susy Halcali "dedicated to this beautiful showing of music and light"

A flower is born and
From the beauty of her wake
life becomes
for us to realize.

She sends her vision outwards,
spreading from eye to eye,
to dance before us.
Visions of a scent
inscribed within her
as no other can.
She touches us
with sounds.
With this birth
we feel the movement of wind against her petals.
We see her life.

Hope to see you at the next one . . .
