the iLLuSioN oF ReaLiTY - JaNa KYoMooN gets expelled from Facebook

I think Facebook have made a huge mistake by kicking us out but we will rise again hopefully using a social network where our virtual art is appreciated . .  whilst I investigate the options please keep in touch here on the blog

http://janakyomoon.blogspot.com

You would think a little thing like:-

• no stable internet access for 14 weeks, as outlined in my previous blogs
• the temporary loss of my domains www.radiojana.com and www.janakyomoon.com ( still working on getting them back)
• the deactivication of my JaNa KYoMooN facebook accounts - both the music page and profile page

would deter me

but NO

Wednesday June 1st JaN PuLSFoRD will be back on line playing the MuSiC oF JaNa KYoMooN with a month long festival celebrating the iLLuSioN oF ReaLiTY . . watch this space!

and if you would like to be involved let me know . . .

30 days of Creative Collaboration with musicians and performance artists around the globe.

JaNa KYoMooN'S ViRTuaL WeeKeND . . thwarted again! Sorry folks  - what can I say - my internet connection is down again and I am in the library typing this - However there is a lot going on in the virtual world of Second Life to keep you entertained this weekend - May I suggest DJ Miles 11Hour and the music of Junivers Stockholm for starters . . just search them out - you will not be disappointed . Hope to see you next weekend at the TunaVerse and GoodBye Weekend Show - i have a fail safe plan - which will bypass this nonsense . .  meanwhile the music continues on http://radiojana.com/
Thanks for your support at this frustratingly ' why isn't internet access considered a utility?' time . .

Music is not free it is a gift

decided to postpone the GoodBYe WeeKeND SHoWs until April - BUT

great to see so many of you at the tunaverse - full of mind boggling visual oddity at the Odd Ball . . .

but my poor mobile G3 had a hard time keeping up with all the particles and chat etc. - so sensibly i have decided to postpone the GoodBYe WeeKeND SHoWs until April - BUT i will be posting something for you to download on ST David's Day (March 1st) as we move closer to springtime and the arrival of daffodils and broadband . .  watch this space JaNa x

a life without instant access to the internet

a life without instant access to the internet . . facebook, skype, twitter, email, secondlife .  . hard to imagine isn't it? . . . especially when your life has been so intertwined with the grid since 1993

I recently moved (yet again) and it looks like I won't be getting wired broadband into my apartment until the end of March . . . so i am in the middle of compiling a series of "GoodBye Weekend Shows" - (something I really should have done a long time ago) to put on the radio jana server for broadcast each Sunday at the usual time - 2PM PT/10PM GMT

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Isla Sonoita/230/30/1249/

This means we can continue meeting on line at the music ALL music Peace Park and communicate during the show using chat. The interim mobile 3G service I currently use is pretty good just not good enough for live broadcasts. It also means I can make them available as downloadable podcasts from itunes (with limited music) or as a full one hour at the shows for all you loyal followers  . . .

and so another adventure begins . .

hope to see you this sunday 20th feb
